Arthropod's bodies are divided into a number of segments including the head, thorax and abdomen. Additionally arthropods have well-developed organ systems and open circulatory systems.
Arthropods can be found in abundance in marine and freshwater environments, as well as in symbiotic relationships with other plants and animals.
